100 years later, the conference proposes, with a scientific slant and popular sensibility, an in-depth analysis of the Barricades of Parma, which in August 1922 hindered for a moment the rising black fascist wave.

For two days the speakers will discuss what happened, and its projections at a political and narrative level, both in relation to the specific dynamics of the city's history, and in relation to the broader national and international context resulting from the periodizing trauma of the First World War world.
