The Cosmodrome reportage by the Italian photographer Raffaele Petralla tells the life of those who collect and recycle the wreckage of the Russian rockets that fall in the snow of the tundra in the northern part of the oblast' of Arcangelo, a region of Russia bordering the Arctic Circle. The project, realized in two trips between 2017 and 2018, has recently won the Portfolio Italia award of FIAF (Italian Federation of Photographic Associations).

RAFFAELE PETRALLA was born in Matera on June 19, 1981. He lives in Rome and deals mainly with anthropological, social and environmental reporting. Since 2015 he has been part of the photographic agency Prospekt. He teaches photography at the Scuola Spaziotempo in Bari and at the Centro Romano di Fotografia in Rome.
