The occasion of Parma Capital of Culture 2021 has brought the Masone Labyrinth out of its canonical spaces: the Franco Maria Ricci: I SEGNI DELL'UOMO exhibition, open from 23 October and set up inside Palazzo Pigorini (Strada Repubblica), is dedicated to the great publisher and intellectual, recently deceased.
Organized by the Municipality of Parma in collaboration with the Franco Maria Ricci Foundation, with the support of the MIC - Ministry of Culture and curated by Giorgio Antei and Maddalena Casalis, it is an opportunity for the city to offer a tribute to its illustrious son, providing a synthesis of his intense and multifaceted activity.
To know the work of the great author Franco Maria Ricci the Municipality of Parma promotes a series of free guided tours, from January 8 to 30 every Saturday and Sunday , at 11.30. and at 3 pm. The visits will illustrate Ricci's creative itinerary following the exhibition itinerary, from the important graphic tests of the sixties and seventies, to the editorial adventure culminating with FMR, up to telling the Masone Labyrinth, a place first imagined, then designed and finally realized, a dream and metaphor for a whole life.
The visit is therefore an excellent opportunity for a full immersion in the world of Franco Maria Ricci, one of the characters who most contributed to the spread of the "Parma civilization", knowing how to renew its centuries-old cultural traditions and bringing them back to world attention with wisdom and originality.
